Dedicated to those gone from this world but never forgotten!

No Reason

in memory of my mother, Rita Harvey
Have you ever lost someone,
That was close to you
Well I lost my mother,
And my feelings too.

I don’t know how to cope,
Without mom around,
Mom’s always been right there,
Whenever I made a sound,

Mom was a strong women
Full of beauty and grace,
But now mom’s gone,
Left without a trace.

It dosen’t seem fair
Loosing the one you love,
There must be a reason,
For the man up above,

Why does god fill his needs,
While he takes our’s away,
God it was my mother,
We needed her to stay,

So please let me know
Why I can’t understand,
Why mom’s gone,
I couldn’t give her a hand

I really don’t mean,
Mom doesn’t deserve the best,
But we love her too,
Why does she have to be laid to rest,

I never got the chance,
To hold her and say goodbye,
To tell her what she meant to me,
Why does she have to die,

I find it hard to reason,
Why my mother was taken away,
But please take care of mom,
Where ever her sweet head will lay,

Now, I have to face it,
Mom is with Marg now,
Both smiling down on us,
And showing the way how.
I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH MOM LOVE ALWAYS YOUR SON WAYNE

Do not stand at my grave and weep

in memory of my Mother and Marg and Laurie's Aunt.
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am the silent wind that will blow, I am the diamond glint of snow,

I am the sunlight on the fields of golden grain, I am the gentle falling rain,
So when you wake in the morning hush,I am your swift up lifting rush,

I am the quiet bird in flight, lam the stars that shine at night,
Do not stand over my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die,

I am standing beside you, As you read this poem,
So, Remember my dear, You are never alone.

I am with you when you are down When you hang your head low,
So please just think of me, Then soon a smile should show,

Before you sleep at night, Say a prayer for those near to you,
Because in them also Is a part of me too.

ONE GREAT MAN
HERMAN HARVEY - July 04/1921-2001)

This poem is for a man,
Who was our DAD,
He has left us Now,
Leaving me and my brothers so Sad!

He had a nickname,
Of one he reminded us Of,
And that was Archie Bunker,
But through his harshness we all found Love.

Dad spoke his Mind,
Never backing from No-One,
Except from our Mother,
And now again they are as one.

As each week would pass,
Good, ol' Dad would get on one of Us,
Usually giving us Hell,
And us wondering why all the fuss.

Yes, that was our Dad,
A Man's Man, Dad was,
Always speaking his mind,
No matter what the cause.

Dad, you are deeply missed,
More than you'll ever know,
But within your four sons,
We'll let your pride Show.

Say Hi!, to Mom and Marg,
As we think of you's always,
A day never goes bye,
That you's are remembered in some way.

And GrandPa!!
All your grandchildren, "they do miss you!,
Too young to understand where you went,
Wondering always where you have gone too?

You were a six year war veteran,
And partly because of you's
We can stay Free!,
But Longing to fill your shoes.

Dad, we'll try and keep,
Your name well proud,
As your son's,
We feel endowed.

You fought your final battle,
Like the man you always were,
Not wanting to leave us,
As your thoughts were unsure.

So for now we say goodbye, Dad,
As you always made us so proud,
Now you are back with your first love,
As for Mom and Marg you bowed.

Never think for a moment,
That you'll never be missed,
And because of you Dad,
We still have our children to be kissed.

My sister,   Marg

Memories Bring Back Memories
Many year's have gone by,
That Marg was taken away,
When we think of her we cry,
And in silence we pray.

Back bone of our family,
Always lending her hand,
We were all so lucky,
To have her as a sister or friend.

It's true that melodies bring back memories,
And every time we here a Elvis song,
That's when we really see,
Without you everything seems wrong.

Love Wayne, 1986

Gone but not forgotten

We can only lay and dream,
Of how life should be,
If Marg was still here,
Instead of picture's that we see.

Yes we see with our eyes,
Her sweet pictures in passing,
But Marg knows in our hearts,
Our love is everlasting.

Some days that pass us by,
With only a slight thought,
Being caught up in daily routines,
But always remembering the happiness Marg brought.

The mention of her name,
Never goes by unnoticed,
Marg meant so much to us,
How could our love go unfocused.

There are pictures for Dad, brothers & sisters,
We all miss Marg so much
Just a few small pictures,
Bring's memories of her gentle touch.

So sleep in heaven our sweet angel,
As for the family we still share,
Without you & Mom,
Life doesn't seem fair.

If not for your sweet memories,
We'd probably forget of each other,
But your memories remind us daily,
That we still have Dad, sisters and brothers.

Love,
          the Harvey family

Cathy Tone (Hawkins)

deeply missed by Bryan, Chantele, Cory, and Jessie, Lorne, and brothers and sisters

passed away March 3rd, 2000

Unexpectedly

You could say we were all shocked,
To hear that our friend was gone,
Cathy left without a trace,
How could things go so wrong.

Cathy was a strong lady,
It was hard to change her ways,
We wonder what she was thinking,
In her last final days.

Some people hide their feelings,
Yes, some better than others,
I guess she let her feelings show,
As her young live would be smothered.

We'll always remember Cathy,
With her smile and a cup of tea,
She'll be with us forever,
Her honest face we'll always see.

Your friend Wayne, 2000

When Angels sense you need them,

And Angels always do ...

They come, unseen, from everywhere

To help and comfort you.

They hover close beside you

Till all your cares are gone,

Till they can see you're ready

Once again to carry on.

Then some of them may fly away

And take their gentle touch,

To other hearts that need

The love of Angels very much.

But one, at least, stays with you

As your constant friend and guide,

For GUARDIAN ANGELS never leave,

They're always at your side.

dedicated to Jimmy  -  Shar*DE's son

Have you ever lost someone,
That was close to you,
Yes I lost my SON,
And my feelings too.

The sun shines bright,
But each day is dark and long,
Without my JIMMY,
Everyday seems so wrong.

Yet, GOD says I should forgive,
But how can this be so,
When now there's only JIMMY'S picture,
And the one who has taken his life, let go.

Life just doesn't seem fair,
But is this what we call life?
Losing the ones you LOVE,
And each day full of strife.

Yes, imagine all the people,
Living for today,
But if they're not here to live,
Why should we want to stay.

I've lost my SIS and MOTHER,
Most gracious people you could meet,
All I seemed to learn from their loss,
Is the taste of defeat.

But at times I sit alone and wonder,
Of all their good memories,
Because without those few thoughts,
Only blindness I would see.

So after losing my loved ones,
I figured to look straight ahead,
And maybe help the next person,
Even though my loved ones are dead.

If I could trade places,
There would never be a second thought,
But maybe through their death,
Mixed feeling's are brought.

To say I would trade places,
Seems very easy to say,
But only GOD knows I mean it,
Because to him each day I pray.

They say you should feel remorse,
And they are now in a better place,
How in the HELL do they know,
Because death they have not faced.

So to those who feel as I,
HOPE is the word we NEED,
Because hating someone for our loss,
Really only fulfills our greed.

But a day never goes by,
Our loss is always reminded,
I IMAGINE an answer some day,
BUT GOD please help us find it.

(EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE NOT MET, WE SHARE SOME SAME LOSSES)
I hope this poem might help let you know the way I try to cope.

If you would like to,
Say your own kind of prayers
And the rose will keep blooming
Like their smiles do in our hearts.
