) MID-WEST CHOPPERS INC. 2004 Softail Chopper designed by Chip Miyler founder of MWC. The building and fabrication credits go to MWC talented craftsmen Casey Brewer... Rock Hymes project is based on a oversized single curved down tube drop seat wide tire softail frame from Pro-Street Frame Works. The frame sports a 45 degree neck rake with a 6 inch backbone stretch and a 9 inch down tube stretch... Sheet metal selected for the Hymes project started out as a set of Russ Wernimont Designs steel fenders and a steel fuel tank from Independent Gas Tank Co. The Mid-West crew wasted no time in cutting, stretching, and reshaping the sheet metal into the awsome one of a kind parts seen on Rock's ground pounding chopper... )
The bike had to live up to it's name so to move this 700lb rocket down the road a 124ci S&S engine was installed. The 124ci fire breathing beast is fully polished.The spent gas is routed out through a set of Wizard pipes by Wicked Bros. Exhaust. To hook up all the horsepower and transfer it to the massive 280mm rubber out back a Baker 6sp tranny was chose to handle the task... The accessories list reads like a who's who in the industry. A Headwinds headlight sits atop of the stunning inverted frontend built by Vince Costa of American Suspension. A Paul Yafee taillight was used to make sure Rock was seen if he need to slow his rocket down. The Mid-West Choppers custom made bars play host to a set of Performance Machine hand controls. PM was also selected for the forward controls. MWC not only build killer one off machines but they select only quality products to use on them as well... )
The man responsable for the sweet paint job is Jeremy Imming. The tribal style flames flow perfectly with the one off tribal design cut into the fenders... Chip and his crew turn out beautiful one off custom bikes and they just happen to be the first motorcycle manufacturer in Illinois. They are DOT certified and NADA and Kelley Blue Book listed. MWC can offer financing up to 96 months and warranty programs up to 7 years.
